This year, Wanaka Primary School is excited to deliver a ‘Creatives inSchools’ project for their tamariki.
This Ministry of Education initiative aims to provide creative learning experiences that enhance the wellbeing of students and ākonga and develop their knowledge and skills in communication, collaboration, and creative thinking and practice.
Led by local artist Chrissy Wickes, students are designing and creating3-D artworks connecting to our school wide inquiry, Ko Wai Tatau - Who We Are.
The artworks created by our junior artists from years 1 and 2 will be exhibited in the Armstrong Room and can be viewed over the Wānaka Festival of Colour period.
