We take privacy and respect for others very seriously. With the exception of our festival team, the use of recording devices including mobile telephones, cameras, microphones and digital dictaphones is strictly prohibited at all Aspiring Conversations venues during shows. This restriction also applies at our venues (including outside) both before and after shows. Anyone breaking this rule may be asked to leave immediately.

Only media representatives or journalists who have been pre-accredited for each event, and Aspiring Conversations team, may record or film the event, or conduct interviews on event premises. Accreditation will be in writing and will be confirmed via email from one of the festival directors.

The Festival is committed to providing a safe space for everyone. We have a zero tolerance for bullying and discriminatory behaviours.

Anyone who tries to disrupt our event, for whatever reason, will also be asked to leave. Whilst we encourage open and respectful dialogue, attempts to interrupt speakers, disrupt the event or to silence or intimidate others will not be tolerated.

If someone is removed from any of our events, further festival tickets will be forfeited with no eligibility for refund.

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our community first and foremost. If a guest speaker gets sick and can no longer travel or participate, events may be postponed or cancelled. We will offer exchanges or refunds to our ticket holders in this instance.
