We didn’t hit the $5,000 mark………we did one better and raised $6,850 instead. Hurray!
We cannot thank our 66 donors enough for getting behind our new community production ‘Like There’s No Tomorrow’ and making it a reality for our local acting talent. Your generosity enables the cast and directors to now put plans into place and get cracking on staging a performance like there really is no tomorrow! Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!
In other news, we’re delighted to announce that after a few tense weeks at festival HQ we’ve now secured adequate funding for the 2015 festival to proceed with a full programme of dance, theatre, music, Aspiring Conversations, visual arts, street theatre and a schools programme.
We’ve been in everyone’s ear asking for donation and financial support so we would sincerely like to thank all those who have donated, and all of our Sponsors, all Patrons and Benefactors that have come to the party. Your support in helping to drive the festival forwards is both inspirational and invaluable and we couldn’t stage this festival without you all so thank you.
It’s now full steam ahead for us in the office finalising the festival programme but we do look forward to getting in touch shortly with some exciting Christmas ‘Sneak Peeks’………..watch this space!
