Lawrence Arabia is playing at new boutique bar Gin & Raspberry Thursday November 7th at 8pm. Tickets only $25, including a complimentary Gin & Raspberry cocktail on arrival. Many of you will have seen Lawrence playing with Mike Fabulous as ‘Fabulous Arabia’ at this year’s festival of Colour. This time he returns with his marvellous and multi-talented four piece band. The Festival of Colour is pleased to welcome the first ever Lawrence Arabia band tour in New Zealand outside the four main centres. It’s a 90 minutes show, abundant with banter and three part harmonies, wit, beauty and occasional loud noise.

Across The Bridge in Bannockburn
Dave Armstrong’s latest play ‘Central’, written whilst on residency in Bannockburn last year, is having a second reading this weekend as part of the Across The Bridge festival in Bannockburn. A weekend of music, readings, wine tastings and arts – Be inspired, tempted, informed and entertained. ‘Central’ was first read in this year’s Festival of Colour and some of the original cast will be reading this second stage script. Afterwards Dave will give a short talk and answer questions. It is sure to be a fascinating insight into how a writer’s work gets crafted. Saturday 5th October 4.30pm at Carrick Winery.
