Happy new year! And what a great year it is going to be. The eagerly anticipated Aspiring Conversations programme, presented by Milford Asset Management, will be launched in only five weeks’ time. We can’t wait to share the wonderful line up of speakers and panels on a whole range of topics – absorbing, and sometimes controversial and challenging. Plus a very special musical performance on the Saturday night.

We are also pleased that Peter Biggs will be returning to Wanaka to chair two of the sessions. Those who attended our December function enjoyed Peter’s talk on the value of the arts and his many and diverse references along the way. He will chair the final two sessions on Sunday afternoon – both featuring a variety of writers and we are sure that he will ensure these sessions live up to their billing!

Our thanks to all of our sponsors, grants, Patrons Plus and Benefactors Plus that help to make the festival happen.

Invitations for the Aspiring Conversations launch will be sent out shortly. After the launch then programmes will be mailed out and will be available all around Wanaka in the usual places.
