Two weeks to go!

The programme is at the printers, the adverts are booked, invitations to the launch sent out and we can’t wait to share with the world the amazing line up of theatre, music, dance, comedy, visual arts and Aspiring Conversations. With over 10 international performances we really are ‘Bringing the World to Wanaka’. It is a terrific line up and we have several shows with two or more performances so there will be multiple opportunities to catch your favourite shows and try something new, and not miss out on tickets.

Important Ticketing Information

  • If you are a Patron, Benefactor or Sponsor and have not received your programme launch invitation via email then please let Lindsey know – perhaps just check your spam first. Many thanks to those that have RSVP’d – it really does help us to plan our catering.
  • Patrons and Benefactors will have their membership cards mailed out before launch so look out for those in the mail. This card has a barcode and will hold all your ticketing data so when you purchase tickets they automatically load onto your card so you don’t need to print out tickets – you will have all of your tickets in one handy place.
  • Priority sales will be available at the launch function – Katy and her team will be available to answer any ticketing queries you may have. And then thereafter online and via phone.

The programme is launched on Thursday 9 February, and public ticket sales start Friday 17 February – either online or phone, and the box office at the Lake Wanaka Centre will be open Friday 17 and Saturday 18 February from 8am to 6pm.

Fundraiser Shopping List

Our ‘shopping list’ has been successful with over $1000 donated toward many of the behind the scenes items that we need to make the festival happen. We have added a new item to the list – in these health and safety conscious times we need some high vis vests for our technical team. At $30 each you could help to keep one of our staff safe!
There are several other items varying in price from $30 to $600 – piano tuning, specialty lights, freight for lights from Christchurch and refreshments for our volunteer singers in ‘Sing it to My Face‘ – check out the full list here and you can make a donation today.

Other Events

Catalyst Trust in Queenstown have organised a public lecture by Nobel Laureate William Phillips. He will talk about Einstein, Time and Light on Sunday 29 January 5pm at Queenstown Memorial Centre. Check out their Facebook page for more information.
