We wish you a very happy Christmas and we thank you for your support this year.

Looking back over the year, so many have told us of the memories they treasure of the 2009 Festival of Colour. For some it was the sheer verve of tango dancers Ana and Fabio Robles, |
 |
for others it was the musicianship and humour of the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra or the engaging humanity of poet Glenn Colquhoun. |
 |
Many of us enjoyed the spectacle of Wanaka turning French for a day in honour of the premiere of Le Sud. This play has gone on to full houses in Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington and Tauranga - and the Auckland Theatre Company are mounting a new production from 11 February to 6 March - http://www.atc.co.nz/Plays/Detail.aspx?id=2030

It won’t be long before we’re gearing up again for the 2011 Festival of Colour! Don’t forget to sign up as a Patron or Benefactor to support the festival, and to take advantage of the priority booking period – full details on http://www.festivalofcolour.co.nz/join_us.html
The Festival of Colour will also be hosting three shows in the course of 2010 so watch out for our new year announcements!
In the meantime we wish all of you a wonderful Christmas, and a very happy New Year.
From chair Nick Brown, director Philip Tremewan and the trustees and staff of the Festival of Colour
