2011 Dates Announced
The snow is on the hills and everyone in Wanaka is wrapped up to stay warm, but here in the festival office our sights are set to Autumn 2011 with the announcement of the dates for the 4th Festival of Colour.
The Festival will be held from 12 to 17 April 2011 which is a little bit earlier than the last 2 festivals so we hope it will be a bit warmer and the autumn colours should be at their best.
So book your accommodation and travel plans now as it is sure to be a busy time, based on the success of the 2009 Festival.

There is another chance to see some of the sell out shows of the 2009 Festival of Colour at the Christchurch Arts Festival. ‘Le Sud’, ‘LA Mitchell’ and the ‘Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra’ are all playing over the next few days and Raewyn Hill’s powerful dance work ‘Finders Keepers’ played earlier this week. Take a look at their website for programme and ticketing information - http://www.artsfestival.co.nz |
