Concert FM

The Festival of Colour has been getting some fantastic national media coverage this year – the word is spreading on what a superb arts festival we have here.
Dave Armstrong was on Concert FM this week talking about his new play Le Sud that is due to premiere at the Festival. Click on this link to listen to it - http://www.radionz.co.nz/concert/programmes/upbeat/20090406. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet for Le Sud then there are a few left for two of the performances:
Wednesday 29 April – Clyde War Memorial Hall at 7pm
Monday 4 May – Lake Wanaka Centre at 7pm

See full size image And don’t forget we’re going to turn Wanaka French for a day so if you can play the accordion, know how to string onions, or you are a French speaker who would like to join us for some ‘frenchifying’ then please phone Lindsey in the Festival office on (03) 443 4172

Ticket Exchange

If you have tickets you can no longer use, or if you are wanting to buy tickets for one of our sell out shows, we have set up a ticket exchange board in the foyer of the Lake Wanaka Centre.

Just pop in, fill in a card and leave it on the board with your contact details and you may be able to sell your spare tickets, or get that extra ticket you want for a sell out show.

Open from 9am to 5pm until 27 April and throughout the festival from 9am to 7pm.

Strong men wanted
We need workers to help build the Infinity Crystal Palace when it arrives in Wanaka on the 24th April. There is an hourly rate and morning tea and lunch provided courtesy of Hammer and Nail. If you are fit and strong and are able to help out for a few days then contact Liz Breslin 0276 225075

Be inspired … Be astounded … Be in Wanaka … Be there.

The next Festival of Colour takes place on 28 April to 3 May 2009 and is generously supported by Central Lakes Trust, Community Trust of Otago, Creative New Zealand, Infinity Investment Group, Queenstown Lakes District Council and Aurora.
