New co-ordinator appointed

Spring has arrived in Wanaka, and with it the arrival of a new Festival Co-ordinator. Katy Macpherson has stepped down after running two successful festivals and we welcome Lindsey Brady to the role. Lindsey, originally from the UK, has lived in Wanaka for the last five years and has extensive marketing and management skills.

Annual General Meeting

The Southern Lakes Arts Festival Trust AGM will be held on Tuesday 16th October in the Armstrong Room at the Lake Wanaka Centre at 12.30pm. Please come and join us. Copies of the Annual Report will be available at this meeting or email your postal address if you would like one mailed to you.

Festival Wine

We still have some availability of our specially produced Festival wines, with limited edition label. Both wines are made by local producer, Mount Maude Vineyard and are available for purchase from the Festival office.

The Riesling 2006 is full, lively and fruit-driven with flavours of grapefruit and stone fruits with an underlying mineral element. $22 per bottle (inc GST).

Pinot Noir 2004: warm, voluptuous entry, good mid palate weight with an elegant and textured finish. $32 per bottle (inc GST).

Just mail, phone or email your order through to us at the Festival office - info@festivalofcolour.co.nz . At the moment, only cheques can be accepted, made payable to Festival of Colour.

Festival T-Shirts

There are still some exclusive Festival of Colour t-shirts available, from $35 plus P&P. With fitted Bonds T's for women and T's for men in a wide range of sizes, visit the website www.festivalofcolour.co.nz  for full details and available sizes, and then post your cheque made payable to Festival of Colour to PO Box 630, Wanaka.
